February 7, 2016:
Lent: Today we will be discussing Lent. The children will learn that Lent is a season to prepare for Easter. Also that Lent is a time for almsgiving and repentance. We will discuss ways that they can participate during Lent. The students will also learn the basic principles of Lent, such as when it begins, when it ends, how long it lasts, what do we do as Catholics, etc...
We will play a review game to reinforce what we discuss in class.
The cafeteria will be under construction until February 27th. Please have the children come directly to the classroom during this time. You can pick them up from the upstairs hallway.
